Treatment Built Around Your Body

Every session is assessed and adapted in real time.

THE APPROACH

What my sessions feel like

Massage therapy is often associated with deep pressure and predetermined routines. My approach is something different.

My massage style is often described as immersive and embodied. I believe the heart of this work is when we stop imposing a technique or singular mode of therapy and instead lead with awareness toward what the body is trying to communicate.

We tune in to your areas of pain or discomfort, guided by palpation (what I feel in my hands) and together we notice and observe those sensations. Without demonizing it, the goal is to gently reintegrate you back into your body, more fully. The shift from mechanical to intentional, from executing to listening, from judgement to curiosity, is where healing actually begins.

The neurocentric foundation means every decision in the treatment room takes the nervous system into account. Muscles hold tension because the nervous system tells them to. Pain persists because the nervous system has become sensitized to it. Working on tissue without addressing the system behind it only goes so deep.

Patients are often surprised by how much changed without anything feeling aggressive.

Not sure if your condition is a fit? Reach out before booking. I can talk through whether massage therapy is appropriate for your presentation and, if not, suggest who else might be able to help.

MOBILE TREATMENTS

Massage therapy that comes to you

I offer in-home massage therapy across Greater Vancouver. No need to travel if you can't or would rather not.

Mobile sessions tend to work well for people who have mobility challenges or chronic conditions that make getting around difficult, patients who are post-injury or post-surgical and not yet moving freely, busy schedules where travel time just doesn't work, new parents or caregivers who can't easily leave home, and people with anxiety who find clinical environments hard.

I bring everything needed, a portable table and all supplies. You just need a space roughly 7 by 10 feet. Mobile sessions are available in 60, 75, 90, and 120 minute durations.
